About Us
It all started in 2000 in my apartment in New York by making cakes and pies for friends, family and co-workers. Though I had been baking with my mother since I was a little girl, I wanted to learn more and more about cakes. I decided to attend interactive pastry classes and demonstrations by well known pastry professionals and artists such as Jacques Torres, Colette Peters, Toba Garrett and Michael Laskonis to name a few. After three years of testing the waters I decided to take it to the next level, the journey began by enrolling in culinary school. I put my career as a Public Relations Manager on hold and enrolled full-time at The French Culinary Institute in New York City for the career pastry program. There I learned the French way of exciting the world with everything sweet and earned my Grand diplome in pastry. During and after my studies I was able to study with and spend time learning from sugar artists and pastry chefs Ron Ben Israel, Jacques Torres, Elisa Straus, Lauri Ditunno and Carina Ahlin.
My production and customer relations skills have been developed and honed while working in some of New York City’s finest restaurants and bakeries including Aquavit, Eleven Madison Park and Tisserie Bakery in Union Square.
Fast forward to today and I present to you My Chocolate Seduction, LLC and hope that we will be your source for sweets that are chocolate and even some that are not. Try us for events, gifts, favors or personal treats.
My pastry philosophy is simple, I want to create products that look beautiful and taste delicious.
